Remu ficou chocado, mas aceitou a decisão da sua irmã em usar um reservatório humano. Contudo, ocorreu um acidente denominado Rutura Precoce, onde a rede sobrecarregou e todas as almas dos utilizadores dos reservatórios ficaram perdidas no ciberespaço, deixando para trás os seus corpos.
